Dr. Alvin Roth founded the Company in 1963. Dr. Roth had been a dentist for a while before he realized that his passion for developing dental plastic products lead him to develop this unique patent-pending technology that is used in the manufacturing of all the advanced Quadrant engineering plastic components. Among Roth’s many innovations: His discovery of a simple method to extend the length of the material that is used in many of our parts; he was the first person to use the actual ingredient in nylon, he was responsible for the development of the nylon powder composition and process; and he was the sole inventor of the sandwich made from nylon.
